What is Standard Strip Door Material?
Standard strip door material is a smooth clear plastic material made from pvc.  This material can be used for a variety of strip door applications. 
What is an Overlap?
Strip doors are created by using overlapping strips of pvc material.  Strip Doors are assembled by using two rows of strips that concave toward each other forming an effective barrier between two rooms or the outside. The more overlap your strip door has, the stronger barrier it will become.

What is Universal Steel Hardware?
Universal steel hardware is used in most applications.  It can be mounted onto the inside of the door frame at the top 1.(under lintel), or it can be mounted onto the face of the wall 2.(face of wall).  Our kits are made up for your particular situation.  The hardware is L shaped and can be mounted in two different fashions, therefore it is "universal".  Please note that if you require full access to your door, you should request a strip door with the face of wall mount.  The universal steel hardware will reduce the inside of the door frame when mounted under-lintel style.
