Crash Guard safety equipment rails install in minutes with ordinary hand tools and concrete drill. Safety rail systems protect personnel, machinery, building structures, in-plant offices, aisle ways, electrical panels, tool cribs, conveyors, finished products, receiving docks, cooling equipment, and parking areas.
Rail sections shall be constructed of formed 10 gauge ATSM A36 steel welded to 1/4" steel end plates. Rail beam cross-section shall be 12" high and 2 5/8" in depth. Rails will be provided to lengths of no greater than 12' with rail lengths based upon center-of-post to center-of-post measurements in 1' increments. Rails will be delivered with 1/2" mounting hardware.
Mounting posts shall be constructed of W4x13 ASTM A36 structural steel I-beams, with .280" web thickness and .345" flange thickness, welded to 10" x 10" x 5/8" ASTM A36 steel base plates and 4" x 4" x 1/4" ASTM A36 steel caps. Post I-beam cross-section shall be a minimum of 4.06" wide and 4.16" high. Standard post heights are 18" and 42" and include 4 each 5/8" wedge anchors for concrete mounting.
